Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! As you prepare to say farewell to campus you have a special opportunity to be a part of the graduating Class Legacy. It’s a new tradition of giving that connects you, our newest alumni, to the next generation of students who will follow in your footsteps. 

Members of the graduating class who support the UAlbany designation of their choice with a gift representing their class year ($20.26) will be recognized for their generosity at Commencement! 

By making a gift representing your class year ($20.26+) you will receive a special purple and white generosity cord to wear at Commencement and to symbolize your gift to future Great Danes. Purple because you are forever a Great Dane and white for being a proud donor.

Donations made before 12pm EST on Wednesday, May 13 are eligible to receive a Generosity Cord prior to Commencement. Cords will not be mailed.

Eligible donors will receive a separate email from uafund@albany.edu in early May with instructions on Generosity Cord pickup.
